Tannon's 4th Birthday Grown Up Party
Spent a gorgeous day in the sun topping off my Vit D for the year. LOL
Hadn't realised that the camera pic was turned around so I caught an (unintentional) selfie, but it wasn't too horrid so I've included it here to show what a sunny day we had today. I was covered in factor 50 sun cream and sprayed Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive Advanced SPF 50 Protecting and Hydrating face mist over my face and fore arms a couple of times while I was out in the garden too. It's very important for us red heads to top up on sun screen, especially if it's warm enough to sweat.
We went over fairly late (left 4pmish) as most people would be disappearing quite quickly but we'd have been there to socialise a bit. We'd missed James already but Kyle was there with his Chinese girlfriend whose name escapes me presently. She was lovely and sat with Floyd talking about guitars. I was too shy to speak. Chatted to Kyle tho and had a brief conversation with Denise about the heat and with Gary about nothing much. I swear he does it every time! He asks me a stupid question so I give him a stupid answer! (Polishing the face of my phone as the sun was showing up just how fingerprint covered it was. He said "What do you do on that then?" So I said "Communicate" and that was the end of another non conversation LOL
I was wearing a Lindy Bop dress, cute and cotton so cool enough in this weather. Forgot my straw hat. Kept my Boyfriend cardigan on all day to protect my shoulders, it's a thin light weight creation off Amazon.
One thing that was Hugely notiveable to me was the fact that my eyes are even more droopy lidded than ever. I have managed to get some inexpensive make-up from various sources and my Mom, very kindly, bought me some for my birthday too. I put a smudge of CC cream on my face and a waft of bronzer then smoked my eyes with charcoal eyeliner and a swipe of black mascara to go out with but those droops really need addressing somehow. Not sure I want to go to the extreme of tape but I've seen a couple of make-up tutorials on Youtube which may be helpful.

I feel great about today, I talked to someone I always think I have trouble dealing with and someone who I like but wonder why she is my FB friend as we have so little in common,
I have a piece of cake for my Mom when I pop in tomorrow. I am pleased with myself today.
